There is not much here - a tree trunk, some accent rock and a natural planting of materials. That understatement is the source of the beauty.Whispy grasses soften, rounded boulders and the Mediterranean plant material suggest a stream's edge. Looks like California back country. Not a lot of maintenance to this kind of landscape. Very low water use as well.
The front bank on top of which sits the residence is naturalized with spectacular results.
